Thread: DNA proves Elvis is still alive!?!?

Problem is they didn't do DNA paternity tests back then. They were done by comparing blood types. Certain blood type parents can only make certain blood type children. And when people died, they didn't do DNA testing, just in case for later.

Just one thing for the people that still think Elvis is alive.....STOP smoking crack !!!
Use the few braincells that you have left (and hopefully not damgaged by the crackuse).....go and see a shrink!!!! Rather now than tomorrow.
You guys give the rest of us Elvis' fans a bad name !!!
Increase your prozac or whatever you take to stay sane !

Anyway....we all know that Elvis was on a self destructive way of living...
And what has been said by Sonny West in his 1977 interview : " How can you protect a man against himself?"....this is true.
I know....people around him they were just as bad....drinking...pill use...etc.
If Elvis had a little bit more power to overcome his pill abuse and if others around him would have helped him with this....things would and could have been so much more nicer for him and the music !

based on all the evidence since 77 ..i would say elvis def left the building on aug 16-77........but who really knows for sure anything is possible..best thing would be to exhume the body and put all these claims to rest once and for all..and only then elvis could finally rest in peace.

Why would his family exhume his body? Thay are sure he died, they saw him dead. I'ts the ones who are so sure he is alive who should prove it and in 31 years they have never been able to do that because he is dead.

I'm no expert on these matters so if anyone here is please forgive my ignorance, but I was wondering- since there are lawyers and judges attesting to the credibility of the DNA evidence, is there a risk that this investigation could result in Elvis or Vernon being exhumed in order to at least provide a more substantial DNA sample?
If so, it would make what (I am assuming) is a pretty sophisticated hoax all the more offensive and distressing.

Looking at Lisa marie talking about the day elvis died is enough for me to think elvis is gone.

Their bodies exhumed for further investigation ??? could be but probably not going to happen... i mean really give him some respect .. i think that Elvis fans would probably upset to have had this happened... i know i would

all these news they come up with as if there were nothing better in this world to investigate .... total baloney ... sorry i said that ...

PLEASE let Elvis rest in peace.

    Agreed.

BTW...JFK is really dead. My brother happened to see him get his head blown away.

Bingo. It only takes one look at JFK's autopsy photos to see proof that he's dead.

I frankly think that these "Is Elvis Alive?" threads are more of a disgrace to his memory than anything else. As I've said before, all these threads continue to do is cause fights/arguments between board members.

But...I'm not the one to tell people what to discuss and what not to discuss.... so.....

    You are 100% correct, Missy.

Correct. (And actually, that was Dave Hebler who said "How can you protect a man from himself?"...not Sonny West).

I think some are confusing what I and others have posted as being indicative of our belief that Elvis is still alive when what it is is simply acknowledgment of the fact that we can't know exactly what happened, either way.

There are some interesting bits of evidence to support the idea that Elvis didn't die that day but there're more compelling reasons to accept the more likely truth that he died. The chance he lived may be less than one percent, but it's not zero. The important thing now, for us, is that he's very much alive in an eternal way in so many hearts -- not getting all Presleytarian religious here, because for every out-there fan who truly sees him as a messiah figure there's some music enthusiast who simply appreciates his status as a cultural and musical force -- and his appeal continues to be so broad and so deep even three decades after his death that I'm fairly confident that Elvis will be around quite a while longer yet, even if not in body. Even had he survived 1977 and restored his health such that he could have lived decades more, his substantial legacy will endure far beyond the lifespan of any one man. As the saying goes, to live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die. In that sense, it's really true that the King lives...
    I completely agree.

Thanks Vegas King for sticking up for me. We put Elvis on such a high pedestal that we can,t even consider the fact he could pull this off? I know, i know he isn,t that cold hearted to let Lisa & Vernon believe he was dead..but what if they were in on it? Just voicing my opinion!

good point but you have to think how would lisa see elvis without anybody finding out??

Do you seriously believe that this nine year old child went through life pretending to the world that the daddy she adored was dead?
Do you believe that Elvis sat back in the shadows and allowed his daughter to marry Michael Jackson?
I respect this is your opinion, but, i find this very disturbing that some people think Lisa could have pretended to have lost her daddy. This is my opinion.

true, no way would he have let her marry that nutcase
It's hard NOT to imagine Elvis as perfect; how else could someone be THAT good looking, THAT talented, THAT generous & THAT charismatic

    Exactly!!

Also, how is it possible that nobody would have seen Elvis in the 31 years, he's been gone...

There's no way Lisa or Vernon were faking when they were mourning! I can't believe some still think he's alive, unbelievable!

Let Elvis rest in peace, he deserves that much!

    he sure does Franny.

Looking at Lisa in EBTP said it all. That girl still had so much pain in her every expression; it was sad to see and made me all teary. It still does every time I look at this sequence.....

That is not fake, but true emotions
