I like Beatles But When ever Elvis sing thier songs It sounds 10 times better.
But Beatles as a peoples are very annoying to me.
I think that Beatles are way behinde Elvis.
It would be better if you asked Elvis Or Frank Sinatra.

    In a nutshell:

I've been a Beatles fan for almost 23 years. (even longer, if you count that I was a Paul McCartney fan as early as 1982). I have a Beatles tattoo (the Beatles logo and their 4 faces) on my right arm. I've seen Paul McCartney -live- in concert twice, paying almost $300 each time to see him. I've got every vinyl, cd every released (I have 31 copies of The White Album on vinyl alone). I've got every George Harrison, John Lennon and Paul McCartney solo album (sorry Ringo). I've been to Strawberry Fields and The Dakota, and had my picture taken with the 'Magical Mystery Tour' bus.

And although I'm a huge Beatles fan, nothing... I repeat NOTHING could top my love, admiration and obsession about Elvis Presley.

I've been a Elvis fan for a little over 6 years. I've been to Graceland 5 times, including 2 Elvis Weeks (2003 and 2006) and 1 Birthday Week (2008). I've walked the Candlelight Vigil twice, met many people who knew and worked with Elvis (e.g. D.J. Fontana, Myrna Smith, Gordon Stoker, Marian Cocke, Julie Parrish, Nancy Walters and Victoria Meyerink), been only 5 feet from Pricilla (although haven't officially met her). Been to 3 Elvis Fests in Orlando, FL. I have over 370 Elvis cds, and I have no clue how much vinyl.

No I don't have a tattoo of 'The King, but I did named my 4 year old 'Aaron', after Elvis' middle name. (I tried to talk my wife into naming him Presley, but she wouldn't go for it.)

Anyway, yes I'm a fan of both Elvis and The Beatles. They're a great part of who I am.

But at the end of the day, and when I wake in the morning, it's always an Elvis song playing in my head.

As someone once said "There were 4 Beatles... but only 1 Elvis Presley."

    'nuff said.

Sorry I couldn't vote. The questions weren't applicable to me as I love Elvis but I don't hate the Beatles, don't love them, but don't hate them.

I dig 'em both also. Saw McCartney twice in the early '90's. It was almost a religeous experience.

I agree. I was 8th row from the stage in 2005 and he actually acknowledged me from the stage. He was getting ready to sing 'Too Many People" when he said "This one goes out to all the Wings fans". I immediately did the Wings signal with my hands and he pointed to me and said, "Yeah that's it!" and then did the Wings signal himself. My lord, I thought I was gonna die!

I don't like the Beatles. In my opinion they are completely overrated- there were much better bands out during that time.

Well, considering we are on an Elvis messageboard, I wonder who will win.

Interesting. 52 % of the voters in here, hates The Beatles. In my opinon you cant compare Elvis and the Beatles, they were not the same place in music, but after all Elvis liked them, and was inspired by them. His honor was to perform Yesterday, Somethin´ and Hey Jude. Therefore the question in this poll is bizarre, and very little smart...

I like Sgt.Peppers Lonley Hearts Club Band

I love hearing members from the MM tell story of when the Beatles come to Elvis' house.
