its a nice 70s weather here, i think this is why i love Spring , they said it will stay this way up to Memorial Day Weekend, too bad i had to work, otherwise a girlfriend and her husband wanted to take me for some cookout. Oh well

Another awfully humid day, suppose to rain, but so far - nothing!

Yesterday we changed from the cold rainy days to the sweltering heat. This morning though is absolutely gorgeous. Warm but dry and we're enjoying every minute until it's gets hotter in the afternoon and the humidity sets in. Gotta take what you can get!

Does anyone here watch ' My Cat from Hell' on Animal Planet ? it is story about how tamed a cat, same like 'dog whisperer... but they called them as a Cat Listener ..ha ha ha

I haven't heard of My Cat from Hell LOL but it sounds like something I would enjoy. Good luck to any cat listener who thinks he's getting the best of any cat.

Ahhh, I found that sad. That's not normal behavior for a cat. There is definitely some screw loose there. Thank god none of ours have ever turned on us and we've had more than 70 over the years.

Tell you a little story, when I was working at the clinic, I came in one morning and the other male technician told me not to go near the beautiful Himalayan cat in the cage. It was a beautiful cat but just going toward the cage it started to go crazy. It had been brought in for it's yearly vaccines. The male technician got a large paper grocery sack. carefully opened the door and when the cat went in it, he twisted the opening shut. We bought sat on the floor holding the cat in the sack down while the vet felt around for it's rump and gave it it's shots. Then the male technician opened the door to the cage while I carried the sack twisted it open and threw the cat in the cage and he shut the door. When I looked inside the sack it was sodden with cat spit...it was a wonder it hadn't torn open or we would have been in big trouble.

It saddened me that such a beautiful cat was psychotic and apparently it was just a bad at home. We never saw it at the clinic again.

What a story,... yes some cats or any pets are unfortunate to be with wrong owner who. well.....they dont really care, they dont realize that having pets is like having another child. it needs to be nurtured...

The cats on the shows basically has some nerve issue, hissing all the time you come near her...from what i saw the cat needed to feel like they belong to their surroundings,.. one of the cat there was actually acting better and a real sweetheart once the owner switch things around their house. They put stairs for the cats to play up the attick, where the cat could see every thing from up there.. as if the cat were the king of the house and have some sort of pride..

Cats has 9 life .. and often more complicated than dogs. I heard about cats choosing you rather than you choose them.

Today my worry is that i havent heard my friend Donna who lives in Joplin MO, and got hit by tornadoes past couple of days, I pray that she is ok.. I know that her boyfriend works at that St Johns Hospital which is now in severe condition..

I'm so sorry about your friend's boyfriend. I hope Donna is okay too. It's unbelievable how many tornadoes and earthquakes that have been going on this year. So far no tornado has touched down in our area this year. I can't imagine what it must be like for those poor people who have lost homes and loved ones.

Yes you are right about that cat...definitely some brain damage there and unfortunately no cure.

I havent heard any thing from my friend Donna yet..she used to work with me ,... I hope by the time the tornado hit ...she went to her parents place in West PLain,.. i just cant get a hold of her,.. and i can only pray she is safe and sound.

People there are very sensitive with tornado warning,.. last night in Joplin from the news i heard, they had false alarm.. and all people got to the shelter ..shaken.. thinking another one is coming their way.. some actually had to call the TV channel and asked why didnt they tell people earlier there was tornado coming.
TV reporter said ,. because there was no tornado.. so he tried to calm people down on TV today, if i were in Joplin... I would got nervous and shaken too ! Its been difficult for them to pick up the pieces.

I ve been living in Tornado Alley 3 years almost now, and tornado warning is very common by this time of the year, BUT what happened in Joplin was abnormal ... and it is only happened once every several years ... sadly it took so many life's.


The place where i work will send some people to help and we have donations as well.

I care as well too for the people in Joplin....and all the other people in the U.S., Japan etc. that have lost so much through earthquakes and tornadoes. This year has taken an awful toll on so many places in the world.
