Is anyone aware that Elton John attempted to persuade the Elvis Management to get Elvis to record his duet "Bad Blood" before Neil Sedaka ? I've heard rumors of this throughout the years and heard the Col Parker shot it down before it got to Elvis.

I found it funny to see this thread on here today because I saw Elton John in concert last night. It was an excellent show!! I never heard of that Elvis and Elton story either. I only heard of the one when Elvis was suppose to of asked Elton to one of Lisa`s parties. I know there was a photo of Lisa and Elton taken when she was a child. I believe it is in the gallery section.

Elvis wore the " Blue Prehistoric Birds " jumpsuit at the 2:30 concert and the white one at 8:30. The tour started in Buffalo,NY. on the 25th and ended in Memphis on July 5th.
Before the evening show Elvis met backstage with Elton John and John's mother and stepfather. The pop-star requested " Heartbreak Hotel ", which Elvis performed early in the show.

There was an allegation that when Elvis met Elton he had no idea who he was meeting. Of course that proved to be utter rubbish when Elvis can be clearly heard saying `Elton John' during a December 1975 photo when he is given some over-size glasses.
Sadly a duet on something like Bad Blood would have been a good shot in the arm for Elvis at the time, but it seems management was totally indifferent to new ventures and Elvis too isolated
Its not a Elvis and Elton pic together, but I have one of these bronze busts in my collection.Are there any known photo's of Elvis and Elton John together?
