I am completely speechless. I mean that is total destruction. Amazing there were so few deaths. Things that had taken years to build gone just like that..... Thanks for sharing. Kim
For those of you who have never been through a hurricane...these pictures will show you what they can do. Simply amazing!!

I dream a world where man no other man
will scorn. Where LOVE will bless the earth
and peace its paths adorn...
I live in Florida and i've been through several hurricanes, but so far no extensive damage compaired with Texas! That's the reason i'd never live near the coast of Florida or Texas. I live a little inward in the center of the state. Really sad pics..God Bless Texas!![]()

OMG. I'm speecless. I don't know what to say. So many things gone in such a few seconds...Some of the pictures are really unbelievable.
Goodbye Rosanne...Your "family" in TCB will always remember you.
Makes me realize how lucky I was. We had to evacuate to Katy and where we were staying it sounded terrible. We heard fences being slammed on by the wind and the trees were blowing straight up in upward spiral, finally the lights went out and the my grandmother's sister in law was complaining about no electricity.
I was thankful that, that was all that went out. She just wouldn't shut up and not think about the many lives that had to come home to nothing.
thanks for all your messages and concern for me and my family.
-may god "bless you"
My goodness the devastation is horrendous,to have your homes and your whole town destroyed, it is really heartbreaking.I feel so sad for the people in Texas seeing all this destruction.
OMG! These pics are really sad! Thanks for sharing them Gail! I'm so glad you stayed in safe. BETTI

wow, i know it kept watching the weather channel as the storm raged, cause i knew about the tcb-er's that lived in that area. i'm glad ya'll are all okay.
that photo of the strand - wow! we did a family vacation to Galveston one winter - Dickens on the Strand, we dressed up like Dickens characters so we could get in free. Mark hated it, 'cause mom made him some knickers, i sure hope Galveston can come back again- we're survivors, huh?

Ride me off into the sunset Baby, I'm forever yours
Man, that is so heart wrenching to look at. We didn't get a lot of coverage on the aftermath. Nature can be so cruel. My heart goes out to all of those affected by this.
