    Return To Sender

Apart from being performed on 1962 Girls ! Girls! Girls! Elvis sang the song only 3 other times in the mid 70's.

    August 1 1976 - Hampton Roads
    May 9 1976 - Lake Tahoe
    July 24 1975 - Asheville

Ashville being my favorite, although it is nice to have it on soundboard The Bicentennial Elvis Experience CD.

Its a great song with a classic hook to it- that grabs you and makes you want to sing along.

Ken I agree with your post.

Don't you think the song Western Union is almost like a sister song to Return To Sender, Love them both !!!

i like Return to Sender, but I really love Because of Love!
    Question col John:
the songs from tickle Me - were they movie songs[songs written for that movie, that is] or songs he did in the studio that were put into that movie?
i love slowly But Surely, and i'm so glad, for Elvis' sake, that no one wrote a song called Tickle Me!
All I wanted was a white knight with a good heart, soft touch, fast horse
Ride me off into the sunset Baby, I'm forever yours

Songs he had recorded a couple of years prior to shooting the movie instead of recording songs for a new soundtrack in an attempt to save money.
