    My trip to New York

    Here are some pictures that i took from the trip that i made with my wife to New York.
    First of all the place that have something to do with Elvis Presley.

    Madison Square Garden

    City Hall (This is the place where Elvis gave the interview for the annual charity event the "March Of The Dimes")

    Hudson Theater (The Steve Allen Show, broadcast live on July 1, 1956 was transmitted from this midtown Manhattan theater)

    CBS Studio (Now Ed Sullivan Theater) (Stage Show, the variety show hosted by the Dorsey Brothers, was broadcast live from this studio at prime time on Saturday evenings)

    Warwick Hotel This was the base for the trips to New York in 1956.
    Elvis first stayed here on January 28, the night of his first national TV appearance

    We really did enjoy NY and we surlely will go back someday

    Penn Station Elvis liked to travel by train whenever possible.
    The old Penn Station was his point of entry and exit from New York in 1956.

    That's great! I have never been to NY, but I have always wanted to. It looks like a fun place to see.

    These are some pictures that were taken in a place called Bethel, CT.
    There is a drive-In restaurant called SYCAMORE.
    Every Saturday through September, from 6:00pm - 9:00pm, they have a disc jockey and there are classic cars.
