I've always enjoyed this stories from when Elvis was an unknown person and the book this one is in, The Tupelo Years, is a must have in my opinion, filled with stories by people who were there from that time like its title points out.

I got The Tupleo Years and The Humes Years by Bill Burk last march at Elvis' birthplace and I enjoyed both of them for what I said above. If you are interested in his life before being a star I think you will like them the same as I did

Errr... no sorry franny I have no idea because I bought them in Tupelo but ebay use to be a good place for buying Elvis related books.
