No it wasnt.
On Monday, June 13th 1977, Elvis put in a call to President Jimmy Carter to try and help out George Klein in a federal court case.
Then the next day Tuesday, June 14th 1977, President Carter returns the call at 5:18 pm but reluctantly gived up after about ten minutes when he could not understand Elvis' rambling, incoherent conversation. Elvis placed another call Wednesday morning, but the President chose not to take it.
