I agree Diane I think Elvis thought people who acted such a way were just plain wierd and I don't blame him.

He was a true Jesus to me and he is still the biggest star on earth. And GOD too!

Quite sickening; and I would imagine any religious people on here would be offended.

    If not, they should be.

Well, I am religious, and I assure you...Elvis was NOT Jesus. Nor is he God. He may well have been mystical to some people...lots of people...but there is a difference between the ability to entertain a person, and the ability to give salvation to a person. Quite a difference, if you ask me. But to each his own....

Daddy, I miss you more every day. You will always be my hero..

Elvis was one of the greatest entertainers of all time.

He was no spiritual leader and as we have all discussed he was far from perfect in the life he led, especially if you are comparing him to any religious figures!

Although he apparently gave a mean interpretation of the sermon on the mount!

Yep. I like Getlo's idea of selling the smaller plane and using the money to maintain Lisa Marie and bring the plane back to a good shape again

    lol, Liana!

I understand when people like to think highly of Elvis and sometimes even compare him with Jesus (or God), but he was far from that! The important thing is that we love him for who he was!
