Nettie, your first name is French but people adopt other nation's names all the time. It's the last name that is important in determining where someone is from.

Only that both names are put together by some of the same letters![]()
No but change one letter of my wifes surname and it
turns into an anagram of Elvis![]()
We both have an "e" in our names.Seriously, Elvis and my husband are both related to the King family in Texas but he doesn't know if there is any connection to Elvis or not.

My maiden name was West but no relation to Red and Sonny, Thank God!!! I had a kitten named Presley! I have a little girl named Presley coming to my class in September!!! I can`t wait to find out the reason for her name!!!
O.K. Here's the link...my grandmother was Gladys' sister,Reatha Smith. Reatha had one
son,a man named,Harold Loyd. I am one of Harold's sons....Larry Loyd.
This isn't a great link with my name and Elvis because its only the first name but I was excited when I first found out about this story. I have the same first name(Colleen) as the flight attendant who was on a plane with Elvis once in '73. She was the one who said Elvis invited her to his concert that night and then Linda invited her to meet them in Tahoe the next week. She was able to stay in the suite next to Elvis and Linda while in Tahoe with them and sit front row at his concerts. I sure wish it was this Colleen who got to do that!
Of course my name is linked to Elvis. It contains an "L" and an "I".
Goodbye Rosanne...Your "family" in TCB will always remember you.
Welcome Larry, glad to have you here.

Some interesting things, lol.
My horse's name is "Rusty" (As we know Elvis played "Rusty" in a "Girls, Girls, Girls"). Rusty's pedigree name is "Southern Gentleman" (which Elvis is). Rusty is a palomino quarter horse/stock horse, I also have a black horse, so Elvis and I liked the same colours, lol. I would adore riding an American Walking Horse, wow, now that would be an experience. There are some over here, apparently. If I could, and I would like to later, have a lot more animals here, love them. We've both had peacocks, lol (and aren't they an "experience") hehe, want some chooks!a cat, lol, and some more dogs!
One day, when I can afford them.
My mother's name is Glenys (Gladys).
As it is a public forum, can't say the name, but my family surname is the same as one of Elvis' girlfriends, lol.
I named my darling, now passed, Collie, "Jess", (we both like collies) that is why I named myself "Jess" as the name, "Jessica" is my favourite, plus other reasons.
Lots more coincidences, but that is another subject.
(((((Elvis)))))
i have E's middle name - spelled as it on the grave.
I have 2 E's plus an L(actually 2 L's) and a S in my name.Does that count?
The One and Only King of Rock'n'Roll.
