If I remember correctly Jackie knew about how to please the ladies by sweating a whole lot. It took swallowing tablets of salt and water before a performance and the sweat would wash off him.
Wasn't he the guy Elvis mentioned in the 50's with that different approach to "Don't Be Cruel" or was it someone else?
Anyway, Wilson was of major importance to Elvis. Like Roy Hamilton inspired him to develop the big operatic sound, Jackie helped to get the stage presence right.
