Gladys passed away 50 years ago

Fifty years ago today marked the saddest day in Elvis' life. Elvis, who had just joined the army, lost his beloved mother. Gladys died with Vernon by her side. Elvis was heartbroken and friends say he never fully recovered from that unbareable loss. Gladys was laid to rest on August 15. Be sure to check our Member's Area for a tribute to Elvis and Gladys

Time flies as they say. Elvis has been gone 31 years now (16th) But you never really gone as long as someone remembers you..God Bless you Elvis & Gladys. R.I.P.
