I've always questioned the motives behind the firing of Red,Sonny, and Dave Hebler...supposedly it was due to pending lawsuits..
but there had to be more..."cutting some expenses"..these were Elvis' longtime friends...why would he let them go???...certainly Elvis could veto Vernon....right?

Well I think theres a number of things. If you ask me. I think most of Elvis lawsuits and etc. from his bodyguards and etc. Drinking makes you do a lot of things you don't want to do so.lol

I couldn't agree more, Elvis had a way of always keeping the guys in line and on their toes, I do not believe he expected they would ever do the book.
