Is this a test to see if anyone will watch the CBS Special and maybe a step towards the CBS Special being released offfically.
Me I am excited as heck about this, i mean i have seen the special countless amount of times but it never gets old.
And my source for this was a commerical advertising it just now on tvland. :

some one working in car tv montage for CBS would like sell a monitor footage start 80s
All the footage at this period is offer in black and white and is long of 7 hours 30 minutes
some old fans or collectors maybe remember more well the complete storie of this
Is that the footage that is on the DVD's of EIC. I have them but am not sure the entire running length on those - the ones that have all the shows and the backstage footage.So there is 7 hours of EIC footage out there.

I checked Saturday and next Friday as well.
Elvis By The Presleys is being shown on the 16th however...might that have been it?

Thanks for the info Col John Burrows..i would have missed it. I have EIC on DVD,but haven,t gotten around to buying "This is Elvis" yet. I hope they include the brief footage of the upstairs at Graceland. I heard it was left out of the DVD.

EPE own the rights to the CBS Special as part of the deal CBS did with Colonel and Elvis in 77'.
EPE have not allowed it to be shown in a long long time....I wonder what changed their minds.

I looked on my local listings and am not seeing it either. Knew that was to good to be true.TV LAND in the USA will be showing Elvis In Concert the CBS special this friday. I was under the impression that TV stations weren't allowed to show this special anymore. I local stations are not allowed to show the special.

The upstairs-scenes are included in the re-issue of This Is Elvis. EIC is not listed on the TVLand schedule, so whatever your source was for this obviously is wrong.
