No it wasn't Spinout...but i think you are right there...that does sound familiar to me for sure.
Don't believe all the books you read ....i'll watch the movie again and check....but i think you could well be right mate

The club named in a particular reference book is next door to The Blue Shade, but it is The Blue Shade Danny walks into.

The name is also confirmed later in the film when Danny talks to Roni about 'the accident' happening that first morning in, yes, you got it, The Blue Shade

well...having watched the whole film again....i have to agree...he does say 'the accident happened on that first day in the Blue Shade'....so listening to that points that you are right Mark.

But when he walks into the bar i have to say...the only name you see is 'The gilded Cage'. Plus that chapter on the DVD is called.....yep..The Gilded Cage. So its a little bit of a mystery

So...to sum up...don't have a clue Was 'the blue shade' a figure of speach ? Or was it the name of the bar and the DVD manufacturers made a mistake ? As well as the book writers ( which would have been out long before the DVD was ). Who knows.....but as i have just written the answer i was after anyhow...i don't suppose it makes alot of difference either way

Well spotted Mark. :worthy: ..i even looked at that scene and still didn't see that name. I guess the DVD guys cocked up too then.
