Hi everyone! In few days, a big dream will come true when i visit Memphis and Graceland. This is the first time i travel to USA, and i'm coming all the way from Norway.
I've been a true Elvis fan for about 3-4 years, and i think this trip is going to get me even more interested..
I'm traveling with my father (We both love Elvis). Some of the plans are to visit Graceland, Sun Studios, Stax Studios, Gibson Factory and probably some other known places (All the standard places).
Also, i'll stay two nights at heartbreak hotel before we're driving to Tupelo and further to Nashville.
I'll write a brief summary of my holiday after i come home

Just be prepared for the very hot and humid temps, about 35 celsius (I think) We measure temps by farhenheit and it will be in the mid to high 90's...have a great time. I just returned a few weeks ago and had a blast.

Very hot and humid, carry along bottled water and drink plenty! Have a great time, I'm looking forward to your reviews! It's been years since I visited Graceland and unfortunately, never made it to Elvis Week.

There is nothing like the first time. You will love every minute of it, look forward to hearing about it. I go over 30th August for 2weeks.

We went 3 years ago in May. I LOVED IT! The people in the south are so nice and genuine. We really had a great time. Spend an evening listening to bands on Beale Street. Go to Marlenes restaurant. Enjoy the pool at the Heartbreak Hotel.

We went last August. Arrived in the middle of a thunderstorm, streets were all flooded. But within an hour the sun had dried everything up. Went to the Meditation Garden at 7:30am. The temp as already in the 90s. Went round Graceland a couple of times and went round Automobile,Jumpsuit and After Dark Exhibitions. Visited Sun Studios. Had an absolutely brilliant time. To see all these things which I've seen in photos and read about in books was truely memorable. I'll never forget it. You will have a great time.

I've been many times. Be careful when you visit Stax. In fact, you may want to just drive by.

Oh that is awesome! i hope you have a really great time! We just went to Memphis for the first time a few weeks ago... and honestly it was everything i had hoped it would be!

I haven't been there yep, but l'am hoping you have a wondeful time and take lots of pictures. Elvis week should be alot of fun too.
