ELVIS COUNTRY 2-CD CLASSIC ALBUM
IN PERSON 2-CD CLASSIC ALBUM
AUGUST 1974 OPENING SHOW SOUNDBOARD 2-CD (INCLUDING EXTRA SHOW ).
That's awesome for me if the info is correct– 1974 summer season –dream release. Plus the aforementioned titles – what an October fest!
Here is the latest information from ElvisNews.com regarding the October FTD releases:
Ernst Jorgensen informed fan clubs on the upcoming October Follow That Dream releases; three titles, six discs in total.
The first release is a still untitled soundboard recording from August 1974 in Las Vegas. The opening show will be part of this double CD set in best possible sound quality according to the update.
The second and third releases in October will be double CD versions of "Elvis Country" and "Elvis In Person". All titles are still work in progress, more information will follow as soon as we have it.
All I can say is....OUTSTANDING!!!!
Having the opening show from the Vegas summer '74 season is going to be AWESOME!!! Plus I have been waiting for FTD to finally re-issue the ELVIS IN PERSON album in the upgraded series! So this is DEFINITELY some fantastic news!!!

Now this is outstanding news. Have the American soundboard to look forward to now these. I can't wait to hear the Country and In Person albums either.
The opening Show from 1974 August is amazing but i am curious as to what the second show from that engagement will be.

Hey this means FOUR new live concerts.
The two from In Person I'm betting we get a unreleased concert from 1969 and the Opening Night 74 concert with the second disc being hopefully another unreleased show from august september 1974 engagement.

CD 1 = original album + rejected masters for original album
CD 2 = unissued 08.69 concert from RCA multi-track
Elvis Country
CD 1 = original album + rejected possible masters for album
CD 2 = alternates and outtakes from 6.70 and 9.70 sessions
Las Vegas - August 1974
CD 1 = complete August 19, 1974 OS
CD 2 = unissued tracks from 08.74 engagement + 08.16.74 rehearsal

When I saw the FTD titles on offer for October my jaw literally dropped!
The FTD label is pure gold giving us these fantastic releases – they really are amazing and I just can't get enough of them.
However,I'm still waiting for the July FTDs plus various book releases,I don't think there's been as many wonderful releases in one year? – FTD I salute you!
Couldn't agree with you more there My Boy. It's really fantastic to see more classic albums series moving along very nicely aswell as new unreleased soundboards.

I am going to buy the Elvis Country FTD. That is my favourite 70's Elvis album.

Now THAT would be cool pal....ESPECIALLY if we were lucky enough to get the rehearsals from 8/16/74 in a sound quality that is better than the import CD's!!Heres what the New FTD's could possibly look like

As for the second disc, if I were a bettin' man, I'd guess that disc two is going to be a collection of various performances from the engagement....I just don't see FTD giving us 2 complete shows in one package...
Guess we'll just have to wait and see, but in any case, this CD will DEFINITELY be getting heavy airplay in my CD player!!!

Hope the second disc has the August 16th rehearsals in excellent sound quality. Will be a must have release to me anyways.
And I really hope we get a new show from 1969 never can have enough concerts from that year!
