Lisa Marie Presley - Your Oppinion

I myself am a fan of her, great to see her as a singer and for her to be able to do the kind of music that appeals to her rather than just being a copy of Elvis.
But what is your oppinion?

I always hear that she is 100 times nicer and sweeter than the way she often comes across in interviews.

Love her music for that same reason, i read that she said before that she would never release a song because she thought it would be popular...better that she writes for something that she feels than just to make money.

I have nothing personal against Lisa Presley but I don't really like her music or think she can sing that well I think she should have started her singing career in her 20's instead of her 30's she waited too late in my opinion.
I know she was dropped from her label and is or was looking for a new one when she found out she was pregnant. I think it's highly probable that her
short singing career has come to an end since her and her husband will have to take care of the baby and they won't have time to make an album and tour. I heard her say she was shopping for a record label around 1992 when she found out she was pregnant with her son Ben and she stopped and put everything on hold and didn't come out with an album for 10 years.
I think i'ts a lost cause for her to be a singer because she will never be bigger than her father or at least equal it seems that most people that bought her first 2 albums did it because they were curious.

TOTALLY I think she hates the fact that she is her own person and in EVERY interview she gets asked Elvis question's and i mean i too would love to know her thoughts on that subject but i can also see how it would maybe make her look like a Bi@ch!!! or mean ... But she truly is a wonderful person from what i saw,

She's not trying to be bigger than her father - she knew from the beginning that would never happen. She's smarter than that! Considering the childhood she had I think she came out of it all pretty good!! She said herself in Memphis last year she has been passed the torch to carry on the things he did and she's doing that quite well too! She cares about people and nobody can deny that she got that from anyone but him!!

I know that what I meant was I don't think she will be a star in her own right apart from Elvis like Michael Douglas or Hank Williams Jr. are famous apart from their fathers.

I dont really read or follow up Lisa' stories or life, I can't say i don't like her, I just dont like the fact that in many occasion she call Elvis as him and not daddy.

It is probably has something to do with Elvis died when she was so young.

Her music is OK. Her duet with Elvis was awesome one of my favorite... especially Don't Cry Daddy...
