Light hazel eyes do look blue but pictures are never accurate because of lighting etc. Light hazel eyes are a blue/gray with flecks of green and brown. Dark hazel eyes are basically brown and green. My husband has these.

My son has light hazel eyes and everyone calls them blue...but they're not. From what I saw of Elvis on stage from 8 feet away, his eyes were light hazel as he himself claimed.

Very few people have true blue eyes.
