I love the descriptive language....'pathos'!!! Somewhat dramatic, but I like it!!!

1976 wasnt the best year for elvis performance wise or personally but you know when you play any show from 1976 you can always count on a good version of Mountain....

its all a matter of opinion..yes some 76 performances were weak..but many were good .....after aloha..it ALL DEPENDED ON WHAT KIND OF MOOD ELVIS WAS IN including heatlh wise ....AND THATS HOW THE CONCERT WOULD TURN OUT

Agreed pal and its ashame the good shows from 76 always get overlooked because of some reason and its ashame. because we have much great stuff like the march tour, oct and nov and dec tours, vegas had some really good shows, the tahoe season was really great too...but none of that gets credit it deserves.

Which is why I say 1977 is my favorite year for concerts. The emotion in the voice. Amazing.

What do you all think of Frankie Laine's version of Mountain.

I find it very darn cool and so emotional ...sad
    But I really love it.
