    TTWII - The Wonder of You

    Can someone tell me why Elvis makes his face do this at .10......Its like all of sudden he developed some sort of facial tick.....

    That's what it looks like to me Liz but we all get that now and then or maybe he felt a tickle on his cheek???

    Diane, my first thought was that he was trying to get the backup singers to laugh by making funny faces, but each time I watch it, it just looks strange.

    I'd suggest it's him being silly and trying to get the girls to laugh.

    I always assumed it was another way of him keeping time with the drums-they is a soft roll in the drums at that point I assumed he was just flickering his jaw to the beat. Just a fun thing he did-like when he would stop and stay completely still during uptempo songs. Playing around.

    I also think he was keeping time to the beat as only Elvis could. Also in his own way of picking at the Sweet Inspirations as well. He was surely one of a kind.

    Yeah.....I always thought he was keeping time to the beat. If you watch it in slow motion it really looks like that.
