I'd suggest it's him being silly and trying to get the girls to laugh.
A Jimmy Cagney facial impersonation, methinks.
Getlo - cute'n'cuddly
It looks kind of cute don't you think? I think his just messing about
Thanks
Lorraine
yup just elvis having a laugh its a movement to the music
I think he was trying to be silly with the backup singers, doing his lip culr.![]()
Good question, I have noticed that also, don't know.
I dream a world where man no other man
will scorn. Where LOVE will bless the earth
and peace its paths adorn...
I always assumed it was another way of him keeping time with the drums-they is a soft roll in the drums at that point I assumed he was just flickering his jaw to the beat. Just a fun thing he did-like when he would stop and stay completely still during uptempo songs. Playing around.
I also think he was keeping time to the beat as only Elvis could. Also in his own way of picking at the Sweet Inspirations as well. He was surely one of a kind.
Yeah.....I always thought he was keeping time to the beat. If you watch it in slow motion it really looks like that.
