I don't think so at all. But who cares? That wouldn't make him a different person.
I was just looking at some Elvis stuff on Wikipedia (I know) and came across this information Here and it reminded me of material I had read by Alanna Nash...
Given that there are numerous comments on Elvis' sexual habits:-"According to Raphael's eye-witness account, actress Natalie Wood was upset when Presley refused to have sexual intercourse with her. She made a snide remark to the members of the Memphis Mafia that she "was not the only one to think Elvis and the guys might be homosexual, especially since Elvis often wore pancake make-up and mascara off-stage to accentuate his brooding intensity ..." Byron Raphael and Alanna Nash add in their article that "tongues wagged" that Elvis and his best friend Nick Adams" were getting it on."
1) Not wanting to have sex with Priscilla after Lisa was born.
2) Numerous woman commenting that Elvis just wanted companionship not sex.
3) Peggy Lipton writes that she felt trapped in Presley's bed as the star was impotent with her.
Crazy question I know, but do you believe that Elvis could have been bi-sexual?
I don't think so at all. But who cares? That wouldn't make him a different person.
The question is not if Elvis were Gay - but Bi-sexual.
This is known by insiders for a long, long time that Elvis was experimenting in the 50's with this issue, so what if he did... long live the pan-cake and mascara.
Quite possibly he was. No one can say for certain.
But Byron Raphael as a source?
Please.![]()
Getlo - cute'n'cuddly
Imo, IF he was, he would have buried himself deep in the closet. And wearing makeup means you're gay? LOL It seems to mean that one is just plain VAIN!
But as you've pointed out - it really doesn't matter anymore.
Just pretend, I'm holding you, and whispering things soft and low.
And think of me, how it's gonna be and just pretend I didn't go
IMo it doesn't make elvis any different to me.
For Heavens sake .........
I was wondering when this one would rear its head again.......Does it really matter to anyone if Elvis was bi-sexual or not?.......All of this speculation just gets more and more tired and predictable every time I hear it.If clear evidence....100% truth..and completely provable ever turns up (which I sincerely doubt) then I would have to think about it,and even then,it would not not change my opinion on,or love for Elvis one little bit....
Albert Goldman posed this same 'theory' regarding the sexual nature of Elvis citing his relationship, particularily with Nick Adams. With no concrete evidence to support this 'theory', with many of those who were part of his pre-army life now deceased, with the incredible image that he had, I just cannot believe this to be a fact. As to his relationships with other females during this time, I have to attribute his sexual nature with women to his relationship with his mother, as it was very unusual to us today.
It is a fact that Elvis never kept a diary, left no memoirs, rarely submitted to interviews and scarcely wrote letters. He was also passionately protected by those closest, yet rarely shared his true feelings with friends and family, except maybe through his music, chosing to keep his thoughts and beliefs to himself. Such is the mystery of Elvis Presley.
"More people today should see him not simply as a performer, but as an artist with a great soul."

I am going to answer these in my own opinion!!!!
1. It is very well known that elvis thought that he could not have sex or had a hard time having sex with her because she was now a mother... Possibly it grossed him out , it might have reminded him of having sex with his mother ....
2. Well maybe elvis didn't want to have sex with everyone, He might have not been that in to hard core sex.. Maybe being interment was just making out or just spending time with them, i don't think that makes him bi just because he did not have sex with everyone!
3. Well this have happened to me as well ( well my bf)
, we don't know what they were doing before this right they could have been making out for a couple hours , she could have been doing other things in that area that when it came to the time it just went dead they don't stay up forever Peggy and maybe something she did they way she smelled all could have made that thing just die........
I really don't think that Elvis Presley was gay in anyway or Bi... But if he was it would not change my feelings for him.... I would not care one bit![]()

I could never understand why this question ever came up considering Elvis being with so many woman from the beginning. If Elvis were bi-sexual I would think that some of his MM would have to be too or as macho as they like to appear to be, they wouldn't have stuck around him. Sooo, if anyone wants to speculate about Elvis, they'll have to speculate about them all.
As for my feelings about it, it wouldn't change a thing about the way I feel about him either.

since when ....men had to have make-up on in a movie or a photo shoot , so the way that i am taking this is.. Then men in Hollywood would have a made a big stink about wearing makeup because that would make them look gay and back in them days you did not want anyone to know your gay..... not like today ... i just don't see how if it was a big thing back then i don't see how actors would want to have make up on ... ya know what i mean![]()

Can anyone explain what 'pancake make up' is???
Poke a little sock salad...
I'm amazed that this question was put forth on an Elvis board. Not that it is bad. I have actually wondered the same thing as well. I've often thought that there was something more to Elvis that lead to his self-medicating. Not saying this is the reason, mind you. I just think there was something going on inside of him with which he could not come to terms. We have been told that he was stifled creatively for a long time. That could have been it. IMO though, there seemed to be something deeper - even more personal. Hence, the need to stop the (emotional) pain.
To answer your question, I think it was entirely possible.
