There's a new book about Elvis's Lake Tahoe concerts–a fascinating period of the Kings touring life, of which there's very little info.
Lake Tahoe was known as the second Las Vegas of America and the stories featured in the book are by actual fans who were there. This should be on every serious fans list and is set for August release– are there any other books about the Tahoe concerts?

I apologize for my ignorance, but what happened at the Lake Tahoe concerts?
It's just an indepth detailed book about his Lake Tahoe stands..because we don't have alot of info from them such as concert reviews, newspaper reviews etc.Originally Posted by LtCarman

Like it say's on the praytome site, the Tahoe engagments are a "black hole"in the Elvis world with little or no information about the concerts.
According to Peter Guralnick's CARELESS LOVE book, in which there's small references to the Tahoe dates, Elvis was not on good form and many dates were cancelled. However, the new book will feature many new photos (Tahoe had a strict no pictures code) and first hand stories which will be fascinating– like finding a lost treasure trove in a sunken ship from yesteryear!
The new Tahoe book is potentially a mouthwatering prospect –any new photos and stories just add to the legend that is, Elvis Presley – utterly compelling – the gorgeous photo of the King from 1974 (front cover) wearing the Mexican Sundail jumpsuit, is worth the price of the book alone!
If the book is 100% authentic and sincere,Praytome have a very good reputation, (the Behind The Image books were superb) then we the fans of 1970s Elvis will be in for a real treat.
