Merchandise - When Is Too Far Too Far?

I just love to go out (when i can afford it) and get the latest and best Elvis merchandise...but i was shocked when i recieved my Shop Elvis catalogue the other day to find a range, called "Viva Las Vegas", containing t-shirts and baby gros styled on Elvis's infamous jumpsuits...and before you say that sounds good, then you should see them. I couldn't get a picture for here but i can paste the link for you to see them on shopelvis.com

    Kids T- Shirt http://www.shopelvis.com/Product.asp...834&pc=EPCT235

    Baby Gro http://www.shopelvis.com/Product.asp...160&pc=EPCM168

There are also men and womens versions of these designs, which i think are worser still...but they are not currently on the shopelvis website for some reason

    you were lovely then,
all that you had to endure,
    i guess nobody noticed it..."

That is silly IMO. Sillerman is the one who coming out with these stupid ideas. I doubt very much Lisa likes seeing all the crap there selling, but she doesn't have much say anymore.

i read somewhere that everything new being sold still had to have approval from her, yet the amount of tacky stuff out there really confuses me

completely...the designers will sure be woken up from this s**t sleep that they have been in if people stop buying the s**t they've been making...then perhaps they could do something half decent for once

I just suggest that people save their hard earned money on the likes of the New Follow That Dream CD's instead of C-R-A-P (C) Cisco like these dolls.

Umm last time I checked we have some really great gems coming from the import world as well with Madions's release of The Greensboro 72 concert, and Fortbaxter's Back With A Bang March 1975 concert from Vegas...

LOL! Now I feel bad. I actually thought about buying a onesie for my grand-daughter. She is adorable and I thought that the "Jailhouse Rock" onesie would look SOOOO cute on her.

The dolls - not so much.

There is something about sillerman in there, but its very true that if fans stopped buying the silly things, than EPE would have no Choice but to get rid of them.

It would definitley be a sad thing indeed. FTD's and Boot's are the only thing I keep up with when it comes to new CD's they are the best you know !

Yeah they are! If we didn't have boots we'd have to wait like another 50 years, if ever, for the majority of takes and concerts to be released. Thank god for imports
