What a depressing tune that is.
"How do I get placed in situations like this? Ah hell, I guess it's all part of showbusiness "~ Elvis in his limo on his way to perform in Omaha, NE on June 19th 1977

RIght after Linda McCartney died Paul hosted a PETA benefit that Linda would have been involved in had she lived. He had never heard this Sarah McLaughlin song until that night. He was backstage when she began to sing it and he started to listen closely-he came out after it was over and had tears in his eyes (which for Paul to show emotion in public is nearly unheard of) He said the song had really affected him and it took a couple moments for him to resume. That is such a powerful song-added to the slideshow its amazing.

Dearest Rosanne and Everyone Else Who Posts Elvis' Music and Tributes.

In my humble opinion, please don't be deterred, please keep posting your wonderful tributes and videos of interest.

Music is calming and joyful, it is wonderful to show feelings. (There should be more of it! lol).

I personally, feel that all these videos add soul to this place. To think that new members can join, and post what they love for us all to share, and then be embraced, is what living and enjoying, it is all about, in my opinion.

We are here for the music. I love it when a new tribute turns up, we should all be proud of the work the fans put into them. I love the way that these tributes are peppered through the threads, as it adds interest.

    Alright, finished now, lol

    Hugs ya!

    Kimmi

Thank you Kimmi! That's exactly what I think as well. And isn't it funny how you can gain a whole new insight into a certain song AFTER you see how another relates it to Elvis? I plan to keep going...until someone gives me "the hook".
