Thank you ElvisPresleyUK, and again, a very warm welcome.

    Hugs,

P.S. You have to laugh fondly, at the Colonel's quote:

"When I First Met Elvis He Had A Million Dollars Worth of Talent,
Now He Has A Million Dollars".

Was he a Business Man or what? lol

Thanks, i think the wuote should have been enlarged a bit "When I First Met Elvis He Had A Billion Dollars Of Talent, Now He Has A Billion Dollars". As we all know how much talent he did have and will forever have. Casey x

I listened to a radio show called "Beatle Brunch" today (it follows Jay Gordons "Elvis Only" every Sunday) They were talking of American infuences on the Beatles. and they played an interview in which George Harrison spoke of being at Elvis home for the famous meeting the day after it happened.
He said Elvis was more than he had expected and it was so great to meet one of their original inspirations. He said he expected Elvis and his home to be more quiet-but he was happy to find it was noisy-TV on, records playing a lot of people about...he said they felt right at home. He said Elvis was funny and they had a good time, playing pool, gambling, listening to music and playing guitars. But all in all he seemed to have a great impression of Elvis.
