The 8mm footage is shot from across the street and is grainy and silent if i recall. but you can make out an object (Elvis on stretcher) being put in the ambulance and then the ambulance rushing down to the street. but i've never seen this photo before.
maybe it is from that movie but i dont recall seeing it???

Correct. That picture just doesn't look like it would be actually from 8/16/77.

It is indeed sad to watch this video, but regardless, it is historical...

I think I have looked at it so long and so hard that I can't really see anything. All I get is that at the 1:00 mark the ambulance comes out of the driveway..is that correct? If anyone has any "helpful hints" I will gladly accept them.

Yes, the ambulance does come through the gates at the 1:00 mark.

Has this particular footage ever been verified as being from 8/16/77, though? If so, it's just pure coincidence that this person who shot the video got the footage of the ambulance leaving Graceland.

I believe if I remember right they used this as first promotional poster as like preview of the movie if I remember right? Kinda to get people attention.

    Love to all,

    Interesting....never heard that before.....

Also, there is actually a better quality (and longer) piece of this film footage around. It's also on YouTube. I had it in my favorites but I'm not sure if it's still available.
