Elvis PRESLEY:The most important, most influential artist of the 20th century. b. 8 Jan 1935, Mississippi, US, d. 16 Aug 1977. He holds, or has held, almost every chart-related record including perhaps the most important: more No.1s than any act in chart history.

I have the Brittany Elvis doll. Not too sure I want it anymore. Her recent fiascoes are embarrassing.

I am not close to Kentwood at all. If I recall, Kentwood is much further north than where I live, sort of like the difference b/t you and Gail.

I really don't know. Let me just say that I AM NOT a fan of Brittney. I just saw the Elvis-related photo was something curious.

I just discovered it is the dairy capital of the south, and has a population of 2205..located 49 miles NE of Baton Rouge. It seems to lie right at the Mississippi border.

Well, that's is closer than what I originally thought. BR is about 1 1/2 hours away.

You girls need to keep up. Yes..she has a home in LA but she built her family a HUGE gated estate in Kentwood..it has around 15,000 sq. feet I think. Brit spends alot of time there and that's where her SIXTEEN year old sister Jamie is living, pregnant and unwed. It seems that's where her boyfriend is from as well. The Spears sound like a really tacky family.

There are alot of good families having the same struggles but because they are not famous no one knows about it. Let's not throw stones, our Boy was not an altar boy either!

I'm not referring to one person, but a whole family in general. The more money she made, the worse off the family situation became. All the late-night comics just bar-b-qued the mom, Lynn, because she was writing a book on parenting when the little one turned up pregnant. Obviously...the book was put on hold. I actually know someone very well that is from the same little town..they lived there at the same time. All fingers seem to point to the mom and dad..no one there was a bit surprised at how things have turned out. Plus...we know Elvis was a gentleman where the girls were concerned.
