    These are all excellent songs . Even today, most can relate to the words .

    You Don't Know Me would have to be my favorite; only because it's so true .

    Of the choices given I went with "I Need Somebody To Lean On." My second choice would be "Doin' The Best I Can."

    Not sure "You Don't Know Me" qualifies as an early '60s movie ballad since it was recorded and used in "Clambake" around 1967.

    "I Need Somebody To Lean On" is my choice. I consider it one of the most underrated recordings in his entire catalogue. The "late night" jazz feel, combined with Elvis' tender, quietly pleading vocal, is utterly sublime.

    There are so many that I consider underrated recordings from his catalogue that could be a whole other thread but i would rate this right up there towards the top of the list.
