I remember the thread very well. It's the same one where she referenced "Fire and Rain" and when I posted a link as to what the song was really about her original post was deleted, by Jess I'm assuming.

Sometimes I feel that if lots of members have the same opinion and/or feelings about a subject and it's a different opinion than yours then you consider that ganging up. Maybe you are wearing your feelings on your sleeve, I don't know.
In your reference to the thread that was closed, I didn't see what was deleted. I did see a majority of members agree that discussing Elvis' shortcomings was not being disrespectful or unkind. Did you feel like there was "ganging up" on that thread? I did not...I only saw alot of members with basically the same opinions.

But now I'm getting a little confused...your thread was about fans showing disrespect to Elvis and your plea to look only at the good sides of Elvis, right? We stated our opinions, which I think you didn't like and didn't agree with...which by the way was predictable, consequent you are extending your problem on all the world and his brother...

I know it's well intended, but you are trying to force your personal approach to life on all of us, and I am sorry to say, this won't work that way...

I think this is a good thread to vent frustrations and to voice questions.
I wish we did not have frustrations on the forum-but it happens.

Some people will always have diverse frustrations no matter where they are, others won't, and I don't see the problem discussing them here...use aside.

with all respect my friend..whats there really to vent about..certain frustrations or things in the forum...when we try to vent the thread get cut down the complaint thread gets we have no breathing space what so ever in this forum...so whats the use...anyways i have vented a little here....im off to play on my piano i will play unchained melody tune..will relax me

It's strange that disrespect can be shown to everyone and anything, including ganging up on people, but if anyone makes a comment against the handling of same, the comments are deleted and the thread closed.

I wish that we were able to get a response on all of this. IMO it's extremely frustrating for accusations to be tossed around, you try to explain your opinion on the matter, but the member that tossed out the accusations never comes back and responds.

I guess she wasn't kidding when she said "that's all I have to say."
Which, by the way, always makes me think of Forrest Gump....."that's all I've got to say about that." His trademark line.
