So why the "Elvis and illegal music sharing" thread was closed?

Let me just get something clear: IT WAS NOT ABOUT PROMOTING ILLEGAL MUSIC SHARING IN ANY WAY, EVEN LESS TO PROMOTE ANY SPECIFIC SITE, NEITHER TO ENCOURAGE FANS TO DO IT. So how did it went against the rules? Does it goes out of the rules if I address Elvis and drugs cause drugs are illegal?

What it was about is simple: illegal free music downloads its really taking place in our everyday life, an Elvis Presley, being still one of the most demanded recordings catalogs by the public, is a name that delivers tons of results if you looking for illegal download music sharing stuff, so I do think that its an important topic to be addressed on how this actually will affect or not our man legacy, cause this is what this forum is about right? to take care of business related to the King.

In short, illegal music sharing is a hot topic right now in the music industry business, an Elvis Presley is still a big selling name in that business, so how does this new era of global net sharing, that could lead to very positive communication, but also to new sorts of illegal stuff, does affect our man? that was the topic, no to promote it.

I think is was a topic that worth to be addressed, as the net is being polluted day by day by Elvis Presley music sharing blogs, and we can´t keep giving the: we can't talk about this cause its against the rules; its a against the rules to promote it, not to discuss it. To discuss it might even lead to tell fans no to do it if that is the case.

Anyhow this is not my site, and I have serious respect for it, not posting this trying to create a big blast of pointless controversy, I just wanted to know Elvis people point of views on something that it is happening.

P.S. I would like to reming everyone that when the TTWII box set was given away for free on the net (talking about illegal bootlegging on the net), a thread and several posts that had links to download it was allowed to be in the forum, that was breaking this forum rules if I might say so, why then to only discuss that phenomena and how does affects Elvis it is not allowed?

This whole thing started after Gail was banned. Personally, I don't want to see anyone being banned, not Gail, not Getlo, not anyone. This site is not about our personal battles but about our man and exchanging information about his life and career. But, (there's always a "but"), when someone believes that he/she has been offended by someone else's words, I WANT to believe that he/she has the right and freedom to tell it and speak out. With no insults, no swears but with HONESTY. Why should I be afraid to tell that something bothered me? Why? Personally, when I'm annoyed or sad and dissapointed, I show it. I can't hide it. That's who I am. Why some people are allowed to show their emotions and say WHATEVER they want and other's don't? I'm sorry but I can't accept that. As long as we are civilised that is!
Guys and gals, you have no idea how a bad comment towards me can make me feel. It affects me very much. It can ruin my day. I know, I know, that may sound too much for some of you but this is who I am. One thing is for sure; We all love and admire Elvis. Well, that IS something, isn't it?
