Lastnight on Sirius they had the original RCA album Elvis As Recorded At Madison Square Garden playing since it was this week 36 years ago that historic concert took place. Boy was it nice to hear that show again, nothing imo really beats those June '72 shows.

Elvis leaves Memphis aboard the " Lisa Marie" to start his fifth tour of 1977. At 8:30 pm he performed at the Southwest Missouri State Universities Hammons Center.

Elvis appears in Kansas City at the Kemper Arena. 17,00 fans enjoyed the show. After the show, Elvis flew to Lincoln, Nebraska, where he checked into the Hiltons Plaza Lincoln Hotel.

Elvis' appears in Omaha at the Civic Auditorium. RCA and CBS taped the shows.

Elvis appears at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center in Rapid City. 10,000 fans attended the 8:30 p.m. show. After the show, Elvis stayed at the Holiday Inn.

This concert and the one held the day before were below standards for an Elvis Presley concert. Althogh Fairytale and How Great Thou Art were done with power and grace IMO!

Here's Big Boss Man from this concert...it would also be the last time the song were ever performed live I believe and the last time the King Of Spades aka 1974 Arabian suit would ever be worn..If you listen closley at the beginning of the show (not included in this footage) elvis joes with the audience saying that had a rehearsal this week, but I skipped it.
