i say and i think most people know Elvis was very emotional about his divorce and life in the 70's wich u can hear clearly in his songs then as example "ALways on my mind "

The only thing that bothered Elvis about his divorce was that his ego was hurt, that she left him.

Otherwise, he couldn't have cared less.

Elvis was also courting and having sexual relations with other women before, during and after his marriage, so what exactly are you talking about ?

Elvis sang with heart, soul, fire and compassion in almost all of his best work, so, again, more drivel in your assertion/s.

I say from 72 till his death, he was a emotional wreck. He was having problems with the marriage and then she asked for a divorce. Then it killed him. He was never happy after that. He didnt want to record anymore fast paced songs, he even thought Burning Love wasnt something special. He became a lonely man. He really didnt care about making the career priority number 1 and he became more dependant on the meds. I think that things that happened prior to the divorce built up and when the divorce happened, that sent him over the cliff. It brought all his sadness out. I mean his twin died, then his co star in Jailhouse Rock died, then the greatest loss was his mother. He kept his emotions in for such a long time and when the divorce happened he couldnt hide the pain anymore. Everyone around him saw that he was in a bad state. What I think he really needed was his father stepping in and take control, and get him help for the meds. All Vernon was worried about was the **** money.

I mean the divorce was Elvis' doing and he didnt give a ****. How can you expect someone to stay with you when you are banging a different woman every night? Yes Cilla did cheat and I really dont care for her but Elvis did cause the trouble.

I'm the follower of peace LOL... I really don't know what he was thinking about, what was in his mind while he was singing this song (I think he never talked about it and we will never know it), but I feel much emotion in his voice, that's for sure. First I heard this song from "Pet Shop Boys", so I heard Elvis' version (the original song) later (in "This Is Elvis"). I've already heard more versions from other singers. Once I asked my mother while we were listening to it: What was that thing what he was able to put in this song and others never been able to put in it? Why he was so different? And she said to me: Because it came from his heart. He exactly knew what he was singing about. And I think it is absolutely true. Maybe he needed the songs, it was a way for him to express his feelings. I got a little biography with my first CD collection and I read this in it:

"The ballads in particular had the maturity of early middle age. Listen once more to 'My Boy'. Surely his own torment in losing his daughter Lisa Marie in his divorce finds an echo here. The man who never wrote his book, never gave an in-depth interview, and kept so much of himself hidden, revealed himself a little at a time in his music."

And I think it is absolutely true what Jerry Scheff, his bass-guitarist said about him:

"Elvis was a true musician and a true vocalist, when he sang, I really believe that the lyrics went through his mind, through his heart and then came out his mouth."

regarding his marriage, this is just my opinion.....Elvis was no angel and he definitely wasn't faithful by any means. and i'm not a fan of Priscilla's. She tried to change him and make him into a normal "family man", and soon realized that he was FAR from normal. Regardless of him cheating while on tour, she never fully supported him doing what he loved to do which was perform. she wanted him all to herself and that couldn't happen.
i do think that it surely changed him, but i dont think it contributed to his death

I don't really believe that elvis went down hill just cause of priscilla, there were lots of things going on with elvis in the later years. IMO elvis didn't go down hill after his mother died and she was everything in his life, so l won't say his down fall was all about priscilla, some yes, but not all.
