The Big Boss Man has passed away!

No, not me - I am still alive and kicking!

This goes out to Unchained, Albert, and other pro-wrestling fans.

It was just shown on a local tv news program that Ray Traylor, better known as the former pro-wrestler the Big Boss Man died suddenly at his home on Wednesday, September 22; he was only 42 years old. The cause of his death is unknown at this time. Traylor worked as a professional wrestler for the NWA, WWF, and WCW during his career.

Ray just recently ran for County Commison Chairman in Paulding County, Georgia (the county adjacent to where I live), and had sinced left the wrestling business. He will be sadly missed.

I do still remember the cage match between him and Hulk Hogan, great match that was (at least for that time).

I liked his gimmick during the 'comic book years' of the WWF. But he really was out of place in the new era (from the mid 90s till now).

Sad news. He's now part of the growing number of former wrestlers who died in their early 40s.

Some time agao there was a program on tv about the big number of deaths among the pro-wrestlers and if that has a connection with the lifestyle, injuries and the way the company (WWF) handles with it. McMahon really lost his temper during one interview and smashed the notes out of the hand of the interviewer.

I really believe that the way WWF manage the 'human interest' of their wrestlers is wrong. The "you're not hot anymore, so we're taking you of the show" is really though. Especially since many wrestlers give so much during those short few years in the spotlights. The drug use to battle the pain, the stress and the touring is not a problem of the WWF according to McMahon ("I'm not their daddy, I don't tell them what to do in their personal life").
