Stay away Joe is just too funny so i had to go with it.

Though I like the dramatic vibe there is in Flaming star and wild in the country. Charro..kind of boring to my taste....

I agree with you on Stay Away Joe, but for entirely different reasons. I guess my 'standards' are a little lower than yours. I just think he looks HOT, HOT, HOT!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a girl. What'd you expect???

And Elvis is under the porch, passed out.....that's funny. But my favorite scene is the night before when Elvis spots the chick and tells her boyfriend that Sonny's character was hitting on her. A fight ensues and Elvis ends up making out with the chick!!!!! Classic!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wild In the Country - just love the drunken scene - Elvis and Tuesday Weld hosing down the porch! "Hey, Mrs. Sperry Yerry!"

    I voted for Flaming Star.
I liked Wild In The Country as it reminds me of Peyton Place series.

Love the humour and light-heartedness of "Stay away Joe" but "Wild in the country" is the one for me....some lovely moments in that movie, and the songs really fit in well, with the possible exception of "I slipped,I stumbled,I fell".

Charro. Loved the beard, what can I say?

Just pretend, I'm holding you, and whispering things soft and low.
And think of me, how it's gonna be and just pretend I didn't go

Charro because it was so different from his other movies, but I did like the others as well.

I enjoyed getting to see what Elvis looked like as a scruffy guy from a Western. And.....he looked great! As always!

As great as he looked in Charro, I still found the script to be a tad bit on the boring side!!

I must admit...I never saw an Elvis movie to see and hear a good script. I went for one reason........Elvis was fabulous eye-candy on the big screen!

Elvis' performance in Flaming Star was one of the best of his career, (IMHO). He is convincing in his performance. FS is one of my top 5 favorite Elvis movies.
