Stay away Joe is just too funny so i had to go with it.
Though I like the dramatic vibe there is in Flaming star and wild in the country. Charro..kind of boring to my taste....![]()
Flaming Star (1960)
Wild in Country (1961)
Stay Away Joy (1968)
Charro (1969)
Which of these Country/Western movies is a favorite.

And Elvis is under the porch, passed out.....that's funny. But my favorite scene is the night before when Elvis spots the chick and tells her boyfriend that Sonny's character was hitting on her. A fight ensues and Elvis ends up making out with the chick!!!!! Classic!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wild In the Country - just love the drunken scene - Elvis and Tuesday Weld hosing down the porch! "Hey, Mrs. Sperry Yerry!"

All I wanted was a white knight with a good heart, soft touch, fast horse
Ride me off into the sunset Baby, I'm forever yours
I voted for Flaming Star.
I liked Wild In The Country as it reminds me of Peyton Place series.

Every man has a flaming star
Love the humour and light-heartedness of "Stay away Joe" but "Wild in the country" is the one for me....some lovely moments in that movie, and the songs really fit in well, with the possible exception of "I slipped,I stumbled,I fell".
Charro is one of my favorite westerns.
But i do like Flaming Star ar well.![]()
Taking Care of Business!! As we always do

My favorite on that list would be "Wild In The Country." Tuesday Weld was HOT!!
Charro. Loved the beard, what can I say?
Just pretend, I'm holding you, and whispering things soft and low.
And think of me, how it's gonna be and just pretend I didn't go

Elvis' performance in Flaming Star was one of the best of his career, (IMHO). He is convincing in his performance. FS is one of my top 5 favorite Elvis movies.
