Let us not forget the raquet ball court business that Dr. Nick and Joe also got Elvis involved in. IMO It was more than just Dr. Nick's magic meds, and the MM book that took Elvis down.
Dr. Nick will ALWAYS be a loser in my book!

I will never forget you Rosanne.

We shouldnt forget it was Elvis who was wanting all these priscriptions to be filled by Dr Nick!! Sure its so easy to point at Nick but its NOT FAIR to give him all the blame for elvis' addiction jmo

Let us not forget that Dr Nick acted very unprofessional by borrowing all the money he did from a patient.
I blame no one ,unless it's the Army that provided these guys with all the "uppers" they needed from the beginning.
I've often thought it would be interesting to see how many continued these drugs after their time in service.
Maybe when I figure EP's life out, I'll work on that .

So, he shouldn't be blamed for Jerry Lee Lewis, his daughter and the others that caused him to finally lose his license? It's easy for me to blame him as he didn't appear to have learned ANYTHING FROM THE DEATH OF ELVIS!!

    Gotta agree with you, Gail.
It's very easy for me to hold any doctor responsible for his unethical behaviour. IF it hadn't been discovered that he did the same over-prescribing with others, he'd not have lost his license .

Yes, I think he would have done it, since he was very much concerned about his appearance.

It´s a well known fact that you have to get vaccinated to go Las Vegas. No wonder he lost his license, the judge must be still rolling on the floor laughing.

What??????????? You can't be serious -- "vaccinated"??????????? I've never ever heard of that!! However, I am sure that Dr. Nick did treat a few cases of 'carnal flu' during his time traveling with Elvis.

He's joking. You don't need a vaccination to go to Vegas.

Now, leaving Vegas is another story ...

Thanks!!!!! I understand that the 'carnal flu' is quite common there.

Just pretend, I'm holding you, and whispering things soft and low.
And think of me, how it's gonna be and just pretend I didn't go

As long as he did not get the quack who did Priscilla (or whoever did Burt Reynolds) I would not care if he had plastic surgery.
But Elvis would hear of the newest diet or health craze and jump on the bandwagon so he probably would have jumped feet first at some quack with a "new miracle face procedure" unfortunately.

Look at the dentist visit the night before he died.IMO nobody needs pain meds that strong for dental work(the pain meds was the strength that they give terminal cancer patients) seems a little strong for dental work! Don't get me wrong I am by no means on Dr. Nick's side I can't stand him either!
