    Lightbulb How the Web was Woven

    Hi TCB World Friends

    Is anyone aware if there is any ACTUAL "Live" tracks around on any CD's of Elvis doing "How the Web was Woven" ? All I ever heard was various rehearsal cuts & studio cuts but what I'm looking for is a "Live" track which is not featured in the TTWII soundtracks.

    geez, hope you get an answer for this one. i don't think i've ever heard anything other than rehearsals or snippets.

    Never seen this track live on other albums.
    I don't think Elvis did How The Web Was Woven live.
    Can't see it in the concert lists.
    My favourite b side ballad.

    It really is a shame that Elvis didn't sing this live in concert....it would have definitely been a showstopper!! Especially if he performed it like he did UNCHAINED MELODY....just Elvis accompanying himself on the piano (like the clip from TTWII)!!

    This is still my favorite song since I discovered it.
    Doesn't matter to me he didn't do it in concert. It was a great song .
    It's one I never get tired of listening to.

    Its really ashame that he never performed this song in concert. I like much better than a few of the choices that he did perform in TTWII.

    Yes, it does sound Great from the new FTD TTWII cd. I guess at least to have any outtake is almost as good but I wish I knew why Elvis chose not to sing this Live On Stage ? I mean his voice is so darn amazing within this particular song. What a heck of a song this could have been Live! How he overlooked this song is an amazing question left unanswered?

    What a great song this is. Mike, I was thinking like you buddy, had he sung the song at the piano like he did with Unchained Melody, that would've been a show stopper no doubt !!
