HI Nicole.....sorry but I don`t know the song, but I`m 100% sure it`s not Elvis singing this song
To me it sounds like it`s a song about Elvis
On what DVD did you hear it?
Can someone please help me? I heard a beautiful song of Elvis on a dvd, but I don´t know the name of that song.
Elvis sings: "Say hello to the king. I say thank you for your songs. No one else will take your place in our hearts. In the thunder rain and snow, you´ll be always on our minds. We just don´t understand why you had to go."
He sings that three times. Does anyone of you know this song? What´s the name of this song?

It´s on a dvd called "Elvis Presley forever". But I´m sure it´s Elvis singing that. I know his voice very good. And I´m sure he sings about Jesus.
If you would have heard the song you would know for sure that it´s Elvis´ voice.
It is not Elvis singing. Just like on the elvis hit story cd set it is not elvis singing "am a roustabout"
Did you ever listen to the song I´m talking about? I know it is Elvis. If no one can tell me the name of that song, I´ll find it out by myself. As soon as I´ve found out how it´s called I will write it here.
So far, I've not been unable to find it.
Maybe you can let us know when you find it, thanks.![]()
"I have learned never to ridicule any man's opinion, however strange it may seem."
Nicole,do you mean this DVD? http://www.elvisnews.com/Presentatio...show&item=7842

nocole , elvis did not sing a song with those words in it.

LETS BE FRIENDS!
Never ever heard of Elvis singing such a song. I am sure that this is sort of a tribute song. Even some impersonators sound like Elvis sometimes, so it's obvious.
If Elvis ever sang about Jesus (other than the gospel songs we all know), at least somebody here would have heard of it, I assume!
But please, let us know what you have found out.
That's not a Gospel song. It's a tribute song. It's hilarious to see how people think they know Elvis' voice. Years back there was the same confusion about the album Jerry Lee Lewis & Friends. Everybody thought it was Elvis singing duet on "Save The Last Dance For Me" while it was clear it wasn't Elvis. I have seen people been in awe about impersonators who didn't even come close to Elvis in his worst state of being......
i found out by googlin it the song is called Heavenly luck or Up In Heavan
That song is also on the track list of the DVD. Now does that sound like a song Elvis sang? Now, I do know that sometimes "new" songs do surface, but not on a DVD like this. And most times when they discover a newie it's hot news all around the Elvis world.
What, that wasnt Elvis singing "Im a Roustabout"?
"When I was a child, ladies and gentlemen, I was a dreamer. I read comic books, and I was a hero in the movie. So every dream that I ever dreamed has come true a hundred times. I learned very early in life that without a song, the day would never end; without a song, a man ain't got a friend; without a song, the road would never bend; without a song. So I keep singing a song." - Elvis Presley
Did you ever listen to the song? If you would have listened to it, you would know that Elvis sings it. I know Elvis´ voice better than you think. Or do you think it´s someone else that sounds exactly like Elvis? No one can sound exactly like Elvis. That´s impossible.
Has anyone in tcb-world ever listened to the song I´m talkin´ about? Please only answer if you heard it. If you haven´t heard it, then it´s no wonder that you think it´s about Elvis. If I wouldn´t have heard the song I would think that, too.
Maybe you all haven´t heard about it, because the DVD it´s on is made in Germany. And I live in Germany. That´s why I´ve seen it first.
Oh my god, please, come on!!! Don't act so naive.Leroy is absolutely right!
