Thread: Who Is This Man?

  1. #41
I have to say, in further looking at the photo posted... He really does look ALOT like Elvis. Look at the nose, cheeks... I've never saw anyone that had those same features!

I never said that the man in the photo WAS Elvis... I just wanted to get an opinion. I honestly though it looked like him. Sorry if I offended anyone.

See what I meant by you need to have 'thick skin' to discuss things like this??? You certainly didn't offend me...not in any way. I don't believe that this man is Elvis...but I have no problem with your interest in him. To each his own... Believe me...I'd MUCH rather discuss these 'types' than to discuss Prissy...

Daddy, I miss you more every day. You will always be my hero..

You didn´t offend me. But in my opinion this man does not look like Elvis and also not sound like him. He sounds like quite a few impersonators do.

And concerning his looks, it was mentiones several times before. I guess Elvis would never have had earrings or worn this clothing style ecept for a part in a movie....

That´s just my opinion and I do not want to offend you with it.

Why would Elvis even try to fake his death, knowing that so many people loved him? Cut it out it is not him. To cover up a death if he tried takes a lot of people to shut their mouths and be quiet. Somebody would have spilled the beans if Elvis faked his death and Elvis would be brought up on federal charges. I mean look at the MM, if Elvis faked his death they would know and probably would have opened their mouths.
"When I was a child, ladies and gentlemen, I was a dreamer. I read comic books, and I was a hero in the movie. So every dream that I ever dreamed has come true a hundred times. I learned very early in life that without a song, the day would never end; without a song, a man ain't got a friend; without a song, the road would never bend; without a song. So I keep singing a song." - Elvis Presley

I think we should probably close this thread? Why does this matter anyway? Let's just continue to love him and his music. His memory will at least live forever no matter what!!!

Just about anyone with strong Cherokee traits in them has close to the same nose and cheekbones. Here's a pic of our local TA. The cheekbones and nose are very close but the eyes are not, nor the shape of the jaw.
Yes...Elvis is gone, but lives on in our hearts.

...you're moving on the back roads, by the rivers of my memory and for hours you're just gentle on my mind.

He didn't do anything wrong for any kind of charges to be filed against him. It's not illegal to fake your death. People do it all the time.

I always thought that was a silly answer "knowing that so many people loved him.?' Sorry, but IF someone really had to do something like that; IMO it wouldn't be done as a trival thing and it would be his family he'd think of first not people he didn't even know.

I DO agree that IF the MM knew they would have already told it.
    You know there's a 3 million dollar reward out don't you ?
Better than the 1 million Gerald offered, I guess .

Oh yeh...I completely agree with you. Anyone with a good Southern upbringing knows you don't discuss personal things anywhere other than the kitchen table.

I have a new theory for everyone to ponder. Maybe Elvis really is alive, and Michael Jackson was so afraid that Elvis was going to come and kick his rear-end that he started bleaching his skin and having plastic surgery so that the real Elvis would not be able to recognize him and find him. Maybe Prissy was helping to hide MJ, so she too decided to alter her appearance.

And maybe...just maybe...that is the reason why I can't find any white shoe polish anymore!
