    2 Songs I Just Heard

    This is Our Dance

    Sound of Your Cry.

Man what two nice songs. I never heard them before. WOW! Elvis always coming up with something new.
"When I was a child, ladies and gentlemen, I was a dreamer. I read comic books, and I was a hero in the movie. So every dream that I ever dreamed has come true a hundred times. I learned very early in life that without a song, the day would never end; without a song, a man ain't got a friend; without a song, the road would never bend; without a song. So I keep singing a song." - Elvis Presley

I honestly think that "This Is Our Dance" is one of the worst songs that Elvis recorded......

Maybe. It certainly is an unusual choice for Elvis to sing without it being forced on him as a movie song. I like it, but I certainly was surprised that Elvis covered it.

I just heard Ain't That Loving You, Baby. I think that's the title. I'd never heard that. It took me awhile to pinpoint it to an album. That was such a great rocking song. Why didn't that make the charts, I wonder.

Just pretend, I'm holding you, and whispering things soft and low.
And think of me, how it's gonna be and just pretend I didn't go

The Sound Of Your Cry is a great song. It's a shame it never got the recognition it deserved. Some of the 45 single B sides are just as strong as the A sides. Couldn't figure RCA out then, can't figure them out now. Some things never change I guess.
If your an Elvis fan, no explanation is necessary....
If your not, no explanation is possible!

I agree with you, i love ''loving arms'' the b-side to ''my boy'', Elvis sings it brilliantly.

Every fan has their favourite Elvis music. I like This Is Our Dance. A very good last dance record.

This is the best dance scene from Laurel and Hardy.

I agree with the statements about the b sides. I like what George Klien said "Elvis' records never had a b side, there was always 2 A's"

Although THIS IS OUR DANCE is not a favorite song amongst many members of the board, I personally agree with you that it is a very pretty song!!!

THE SOUND OF YOUR CRY is DEFINITELY one of those underrated Elvis songs from his career!!

In my opinion, you have found 2 GREAT songs there!!
