Another one:
As an Elvisfan it's always nice to have Elvispictures. I'm always looking in the picturegalleries of Elvis websites. I think it would be a cool thing when we use this thread to post images of Elvis. Please try to add some usefull information about that image (like date).
Here are some great pictures I found on the net:
1971?
1974
1974

You're right about that, Unchained. It's from the Huntsville, Alabama 9/6/76 evening show.
You can see that his belt buckle looks like it's missing something. The Indian head emblem came loose and he gave it to a fan.
If I'm not mistaken, Elvis can be heard saying something about his belt on the soundboard recording of this show (Still Rocking The Nation or The Man In White, Vol. 2).
This image has been reversed for whatever reason, presumably by Alverson. But it doesn't seem likely that he would do that as well as get the date wrong, when he photographed both shows and has them dated correctly in his book. Of course for the Birmingham show, Elvis was wearing the Inca Gold Leaf suit.
...you won't forget me when I go.
See how the front of his belt is broken off? Never seen that before on an Elvis suit

You're very welcome.![]()
...you won't forget me when I go.
Hey, I'm honored that you would ask me! I'll PM you for further details.
That name would be rather long, would it not?But whatever it takes.
...you won't forget me when I go.
That's from a Viva Las Vegas photo shoot, is it not?
I'll try and verify that, but I thought I'd go ahead and suggest that.
...you won't forget me when I go.
Not sure as to whether that outfit was worn in the movie or not, but I think that was something he wore in a VLV photo shoot. Same as the cover of the 60's II 2-CD set--Command Performances. And doesn't the new VLV FTD feature a similar shot? (I don't have it.)
I could be mistaken.
...you won't forget me when I go.
Cool! 8)
...you won't forget me when I go.
That's a great one! Haven't seen many shots of that suit.
...you won't forget me when I go.
Still very cool!
Thought I'd post this one from '78. Make no mistake--I don't doubt for a second this was some kind of hoax, but I never heard what was the real story here. Anyone know?
(This was aired on one or both of those shows Bill Bixby hosted...The Elvis Files, or The Elvis Conspiracy, or whatever. This was back 4 years before Graceland was opened to the public, but these people were allowed through the gate and permitted to check out the Meditation Gardens, I guess. According to the guy, nothing seemed out of place at the time, but when they got their pictures back they believed they had captured a photo of Elvis. He showed a letter from Kodak verifying when the film was developed, blah, blah, blah.)
Apologies in advance, but I have always been curious about this.

OK, so I admit that one deserved no response!![]()
I love this one...really him this time!
...you won't forget me when I go.
Back to not him again--oops! Elvis in wax!
...you won't forget me when I go.
Ah, the fifties...I just saw this for the first time very recently. Hope you like it. With Natalie Wood.

Another recent discovery for me--Astrodome 1970!

No problem.... I've read a story about this picture somewhere. I can't remember what it was about. I'll try to find it tomorrow![]()
