Funniest thing he ever did, dying live on TV. I remember his legs sticking out from under the curtains.

Cool way for a top comic to go ...

Well, it's been said it takes all kinds to make the world .
Animal, vegetable or mineral ?? Science has proven vegetables have "feelings" and we know animals do.
What's left? Some kind of mineral.

Look at all the education one gets from an Elvis site ..

    http://www.gardenseeker.com/do_plant..._feelings_.htm

Plants also use their sense of touch for sex: As the growing pollen tube penetrates the female's style en route to her eggs, it "feels" its way along the ridges on the inside of the style. Using pollen tubes grown in dishes, Tokufumi Hirouchi and Shozo Suda, of Kobe University in Japan, showed that pollen grows along tiny ridges etched into the glass dishes. Similar sized ridges exist in the female style."

    From wikipedia:

"On April 15, 1984, Tommy Cooper collapsed from a massive heart attack in front of millions of television viewers, midway through his act, on the popular ITV variety show Live From Her Majesty's. Most of the audience thought it was part of his act and were laughing, until it became apparent that he was seriously ill. For legal and medical reasons, Cooper's body could not be removed from the stage except by paramedics or the police. It was decided to continue the show and other stars proceeded to present their acts in the limited space in front of the stage. For a long time, a rumour circulated that the size 13 feet from his 6 foot 3 frame protruded into view underneath the curtains"

That was no rumour. The feet were there. And they showed his final segment in Australia too.

What on earth has this statement go to do with Tommy Cooper?!!!

And if vegetables have feelings (what a ridiculous assertion) then why do vegans continue eating them???!

Not a thing. I was thinking of crude, insensitive people.

Which of course led you to the train of thought of vegetables having feelings.

If you knew anything about Tommy Cooper (doubtful, as he wasn't known in the States), you'd know he'd be the first one to find the manner of his death absolutely hilarious.

And, frankly, it was. And it was the perfect way for him to go.

Just looking to see what to call something with "no feeling". It's a mineral.
Several different kinds in fact. Some are harder than others.
