Today, March 24, itīs 50 years since Elvis accompanied by his parents, some friends, Anita Wood and Judy Spreckels, reported at the draft board in Memphis, where he joined 12 other recruits on a bus to Kennedy Veterans Memorial Hospital. As we all know Elvis is assigned serial number 533 10 761. After the physical examination he wa put in charge of the group and he had to say goodbye to family and friends and girlfriend before they all left for Fort Chaffee, Arkansas...

waw 50 years and it really dosen't seem that long ago thats longer than i have been living i think elvis is timeless they will be saying 100 years old 200 years old he will be going long after we have gone i'm sure of it
