Same here Deb.

My mother watches this everyone night it comes on, and tapes it on the satellite box, so I will tune in just for the Elvis "Theme"

Hi Deb,

In the UK it is shown on ITV2 on Wednesdays from 8 p.m. - 9 p.m. (Pt.1) and 10 p.m. - 11p.m. (Pt.2).

The results show is at 8 p.m. on Thursdays.

In the U.S.A it airs on Tuesdays from 8-10 PM(i think) then the results are on Wednesday from 9-10

Thanks Brian, I knew that Adam Lambert would be mentoring next week but didn't know that the theme would be Elvis. No surprise as Elvis is greatly loved by Adam. We do follow this show every week but now our daughter will also be watching next week as Adam is her favorite so mom and daughter will actually be watching our favorites together.

That's nice. Apparently there is move afoot for several Elvis movies to be made by Simon Fuller and it would not surprise me in the least if Adam Lambert was not chosen to play the starring role in one of them.

It would be a bad idea to cast Adam Lambert as Elvis he'd be severly miscast.


I even think Lambert is the wrong person to mentor these kids about Elvis.

I have to disagree. I think Adam would do everything he could to portray Elvis as sincerely as he could and I think he will be a great mentor to the Idol kids.

I can't believe you'd think he'd make a good Elvis in a movie!!!!

Though he couldn't be any worse than Reek Meyers and Don Johnson I think if another movie does get made they need to make better casting choices.

Adam Lambert certainly has that Elvis look and it is no use having an Elvis type movie if the star does not look like him as Elvis' looks were a major part of his appeal. Of course one could use an Elvis Impersonator like Shawn Klush but he is not well known and would not appeal to teenage audiences. We are talking about cinema circuit films here which will need to make money.
