    I made a alt. cover for cd-4 from the 70's masters boxset, nothing wrong with the original one but i looked at the pics and was thinking there are 2 beautiful pictures on my pc and they are just right for this cd, by the way the front pic is colorized by me, so here it is;

    Thx unchained! i know about the font, but i don't know the real font from this box, do you? and yeah the pic is really awesome isn't it?

    thx unchained for that, yes i got photoshop but i find it a hard and diffecult program to work with, same for dreamweaver 4.0, i got the latest (dreamweaver) a few days ago and it is totally different than frontpage, so i have a lot to learn. and have to look for a dutch manual for both programs..

    Nice cover Patrick
    I think Unchained was right about the font...that would finish it off great

    Yes in time there will be a back cover, but i put a hold on the covers for a few days 9 thats for uploading them here) i posted my latest cover (hot winternight in Dallas) last night, and i am a little bit out of ideas for covers at the moment..i'm affraid if i go on that the covers will look alike, and that's the one thing that you don't want as a designer..correct? and it's getting more difficult to find rare pics, or just pics that are not used by others like you. But my main goal for the next few days (weeks) is to do another box-set and to wait that you will upload the cover for anthology :wink: the challenge i gave you a few days ago! and if i was you, that cover you should mail to FTD Records and show this label what designing is all about and maybe you can as a result of that do some designing for the FTD Label.
    But as i said that's me....

    Yes, Ron, I'd say it's about time to do that again. Since you contacted them last, you have had one "published" and created many, many fantastic designs.

    It's too bad you got no response whatsoever, because from that you don't know if they didn't like what they saw (impossible) or just aren't looking for new designers, or if what you sent them even got to the right person.

    Anyway, I'd say it's worth another try. Unless they end up suing you. :wink:
