    Work Out

    Hello guys/gals

A few months ago I decided I needed to lose 20 pounds to get down to 175. At the height of 5'11 I think 175 is good. I came up with an idea. So what I did was play Elvis C.D's and performed the concerts just like Elvis did. With all the karate moves included in each song. I played Aloha, TTWII, On Stage, and An Afternoon in the Garden. With performing for an hour the amount of sweat worked up is unbelieveable. Imagine how Elvis felt with all those hot lights. So in 2 months I lost 20 pounds. Also I changed my diet and I would perform 2 concerts in a row every day. Some of you guys know that I performed the concerts before but I never told you guys why. It is a great workout and I thought I should share. Sorry if it seems corny to you guys.

"When I was a child, ladies and gentlemen, I was a dreamer. I read comic books, and I was a hero in the movie. So every dream that I ever dreamed has come true a hundred times. I learned very early in life that without a song, the day would never end; without a song, a man ain't got a friend; without a song, the road would never bend; without a song. So I keep singing a song." - Elvis Presley

That's not so corny. Actually, I can't think of anything better than gettin' sweaty with Elvis....

Daddy, I miss you more every day. You will always be my hero..

I'm with you - can't think of anything better than gettin' sweaty with Elvis!! But, guess I'll just have to settle for getting Polk Salad Annie out and puttin' it on the tv.

Congrats, Joe! So you were working out for 2 hours straight - everyday?
I admire that! No wonder you lost 20 in 2 months. You've given me new encouragement!

Just pretend, I'm holding you, and whispering things soft and low.
And think of me, how it's gonna be and just pretend I didn't go

No I don't think it's corny either and I think it's a great way for you to exercise and lose the weight you wanted to.

Well done Joe....not a bad idea at all......maybe I should "make a little Elvis something" and bring it to the fitness centre where I exercise.....I mean..for everyone to hear....they always play music there, but actually it`s not to my taste most of the time....I`ll let you know if they buy my (your)idea
