I think once you´ve gotten the syndrome, it won´t go away - you´re stuck in it forever - and it´s great! ;-)

I'm not a huge collector...but I can relate almost anything I see or hear to something elvisy
I guess that's part of the obsession?

I've got the syndrome very, very bad and have for 42 years and I don't want a cure!!!! I was just telling someone today that if they can find that church in "Change of Habit" with Elvis Presley singing there - I would be in church every single day!!!! I wouldn't be a nun though I'd have to work on the genuflecting because with Elvis there - you couldn't keep me out of that church!!!!

i have the syndrome!! everytime someone says something, i somehow manage to think of Elvis and relate it to a song of his. One time in my media class, someone said "i can't help it miss, i'm all shook up." and i wanted to scream! and another time, someone was talking about their "green, green grass" near their home. Ripping my hair out at school over such casual remarks!

"*ahem* Hello everyone. My name is Emily ... and i have a problem. A very GOOOOOOD problem may i add? I've been addicted to Elvis for a few years now, and i can't seem to get over him. I've tried everything, shock therapy, injections, hell i've tried to get myself hooked on other singers, but it's just not working. So i thought i'd come here. I figured, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em."
I've got those hup, two, three, four, occupation G.I. Blues, From my G.I. hair to the heels of my G.I. shoes

Ohhh Emily how you make me laugh
I never forget, when I asked if you liked anyone, you go "Yeah, Elvis, but i've gave up hope"
    That still makes me giggle

I used to think I had the syndrome (was a fanatic), but Elvis message boards showed me I was just a fan. Thank goodness for that.

I am a fan of Elvis'.Do I have the syndrome? No! I can't say I do.Some people think that I eat, sleep and breathe Elvis 24/7 which I don't.Some people think my bedroom is a shrine to Elvis,it is not, that I have Elvis pictures everywhere in the house,I do not.As I said before,I am a fan of Elvis Presley! I love his music,I enjoy some of his movies and I think he was a very talented and handsome man.

Compared to almost everybody around me I have the syndrome.
Compared to many Elvis fans in the wild, I'm just a fan.

When people see the amount of Elvis books I have in my house they usually think I'm insane but I know there are crazier fans than me out there.
    I've met some of them!
I just have this pathological need to learn as much about him as I possibly can.
I also like his movies more than is considered appropriate by even some of his most faithful followers.
