I feel the same, this love is unconditional and I miss him (although I have never seen him in person). Anyways you chose cute tigers as your avatar pic, I like it!!

well i always thought i was just a fan but after coming here i must say i have the syndrome its catching on this site i mean i have never wanted to be elvis or wished to be with him i just love and appreciated both the man and the music i mean he was elvis just wish i could have been around in his era to see him and hear him live but

I Have the Syndrome, no doubt about it. My family thinks I've lost it but I don't care. My bedroom, my den and my computer room have nothing but Elvis floor to ceiling. He is pretty much all I think about all day. I don't listen to any other music and I'm going broke because I can't stop buying Elvis things. I even duplicate purchases sometimes. I just hope I can meet him on the other side some day. No one can hold a candle to him. I've loved Elvis since I was 10 years old and I'm 63 now.

I have the syndrome!

But not everything you wrote fits to me. But some other things fit to me:

1. Elvis is the first thing I think of when I wake up
2. I love Elvis
3. Elvis is the last thing I think of before I fall asleep
4. Whenever I´m said or lonely I imagine Elvis would be there with me
5. I wish I could be married with him
6. I listen to Elvis, or watch videos of him, whenever I can
7. I always try to dream of him at night
8. When I don´t dream of him I think of him in my dreams
9. I want to know everything about him
10. I always have a picture of him in my bed
11. I always kiss the picture before I go to sleep
12. I can´t get enough of him!
13. I hate everyone who says bad things about him
14. A lot of people say I overact with the way I´m being a fan of Elvis

There are a lot of other points, too. But right now I don´t know them any more.

Warning, this syndrome will not get better. It will continue to progress over the years. You have to learn to live with it.The best way to deal with it is to listen to Elvis nightly, and stare endlessly at his pictures and take a couple of doses of his movies each day.

Since I have had the syndrome about 52 years I am pretty sure there will be no change in condition at this point. I am going to the grave with it.
