What was the very first Elvis album you bought and in what form? Mine was the 8-track tape of Elvis In Concert in 77.

The first Elvis album I ever bought with my own money was the Live in Memphis album. The first one ever bought for me was the Blue Hawaii sound track.

I got told off for buying that boxset for £6 which was a weeks wages back in the early 70's.
The first album might have been Almost In Love.

As a family had several lp's such as Elvis in the 70's.Though I think the 1st album I purchased was "Clambake" (just like rmk101) in 1975 for a fathers day gift (it was on sale and in my price range --cheap).

The 1st cd was Feb 1970 On Stage.I bought this before I had a CD player.
that was in May 1990.
I now have that many Lp's and CD's that I've lost count.
